This post is dedicated to congratulate the winner – Zadman5311 – of this last weekend Pokerstars Sunday Million and Pokerstars.com for the 2 records that were set!
This was the largest ever prize pool = $3,656,600 with the largest ever field of players = 18,283 of the Pokerstars Sunday Million with a buy-in of $215 NL Holdem.
With this amount the top 5 players would get six-figures prizes and the number one could get $365,670.77. I say… That must be a good daily salary anywhere in the world
After 11 hours we end up with the following player lineup for the final table:
Name - Amount of chips
ZyeD3 – 22,839,804
Zadman5311 – 17,636,300
The Omaholic – 18,935,611
MATPOC28 – 18,997,596
m8675309a – 24,108,668
Guldlemmen4 – 43,419,898
waWe – 15,883,436
E-Daddie – 7,938,832
call110 – 13,069,855

When the table come down to 6 players they decided to start a discussion on how could they split the pot. Team PokerStars Pro Ivan Demidov was the host of the final table and supported during the discussion. With $30,000 set aside for the eventual winner the payouts were defined like this:
ZyeD3 (15,519,804 in chips) = $144,353.10
Zadman5311 (44,532,600 in chips) = $252,662.86
m8675309a (30,384,279 in chips) = $200,844.74
Guldlemmen4 (23,099,863 in chips) = $177,650.76
waWe (30,553,744 in chips) = $205,477.38
call110 (38,739,710 in chips) = $250,037.00
From that moment on the action continued with very good poker demonstrated by these players and end up with the following final hand:
m8675309a pushed all-in for 7,769,952 holding [Qd] [Tc], and Zadman5311 called quickly with [As] [4h]. The board came [7h] [2d] [8s] [2h] [Jh], and the ace kicker worked to eliminate m8675309a in second place.
Zadman5311 was the winner of the biggest $215 Pokerstars Sunday Million in history, claiming tournament title with a nice paycheck of $282,662.86!!!
Congratulations!!!

Hello again!
This post is dedicated to the last and biggest event of the WCOOP 2009 the Main Event with a buy-in of $5,200 NL Holdem – and to congratulate the winner Yevgeni „Jovial Gent“ Timoshenko that won $1,715,200 in prize money, a WCOOP gold bracelet and a trip to the Bahamas for the next PCA.
This was a 2-day event of online poker full of action and I just want to bring to you some of the highlights. There were together 2144 entrants with a prize pool of $10,720,000. That’s “only” ten times more than the usual Sunday Million of Pokerstars.com!
It has started on 20th September at 17.00 ET and has finished on 22nd September at 2.47 ET. Only the top 306 players in this tournament were in the money and they would take a “piece of the pie”. The huge payout was prepared for the final table, especially first two finishers, who would end up millionaires
.
There were 178 players after the first day of the tournament ready for the 2nd battle. Here you can have seen many know players as J.C. Tran, PokerStars Pro Jan Heitman, winner of the Five-Star World Poker Classic WPT Championship 2009 Yevgeni “Jovial Gent” Timoshenko or Daniel “djk123″ Kelly, who was fighting for his 3rd WCOOP 2009 bracelet.
It was Daniel “djk123″ Kelly who was playing very solid poker game and created a good spot for himself as a chip leader in the 2nd day of the tournament, but few moments before the final table it was Yevgeni who started to fight back for the 1st position. Here you can see structure of the final table on the WCOOP 2009 event:
Seat Name Amount of chips
1 reddeevil 4.222.220
2 Mudvaynes 700.486
3 Jovial Gent 10.616,564
4 djk123 12.160.610
5 Udon Wannit 4.549.346
6 Chong94 3.857.482
7 Xaston 2.150.576
8 PeachyMer 3.617.956
9 Supa4real 1.004.760
The final table was very interesting and had the pleasure of having a lady with nick “PeachyMer” amongst all the guys. Unfortunately she has been eliminated by the chip leader djk123 and took the 9th place with $96,480.
The 4th place has been taken by the djk123, owner of already two WCOOP 2009 bracelets. After some action, 2 players end up heads up. Jovial Gent as a chipleader with about 32 Mill. in chips and Udon Wannit with about 10 Mill. in chips.
Here is the final hand – After a mini-raise from Wannit the flop was [6s] [Kc] [8h]. He was holding [6c] [5c] and has raised after Gent’s check. He got re-raised which forced him to shove all the remaining chips in. Jovial Gent showed 2 pairs with [Kd] [6d] and this hand made him the winner of the WCOOP 2009.
Daniel “djk123″ Kellly won title Player of the Series WCOOP 2009 and the Yevgeni “Jovial Gent” Timoshenko claimed the Main Event championship title.
Here is the final standings and prizes:
1 - Jovial Gent from United States - $1,715,200.00
2 - Udon Wannit from United States - $1,286,400.00
3 - reddeevil from Norway - $933,712.00
4 - djk123 from United States - $643,200.00
5 - Xaston from United States - $482,400.00
6 - Chong94 from United States - $375,200.00
7 - Mudvaynes from United States - $268,000.00
8 - Supa4real from Netherlands - $182,240.00
9 - PeachyMer from United States - $96,480.00
10 - slammedfire from Canada - $75,040.00
Looking into Yevgeni “Jovial Gent” Timoshenko past successes we can see that he is doing very well!
He has won the online tournament Sunday Million run by Pokerstars.com, he has won the PokerStars daily $100 rebuy for over $30,000, then the PokerStars Sunday $200 rebuy for over $60,000 and got another good result in the PokerStars Million – finishing fifth for $59,000. I can also mention a final table in the FullTilt 1k Monday for $14,000 and a fifth place in the UltimateBetSunday $200k for $11,000. I have to say Yevgeni „Jovial Gent“ Timoshenko knows about poker and he is indeed very skilled. His game speaks for him.

This is the first reality show about Poker and it’s about 4 instructors of online poker that have been working at DeucesCracked web. They are trying to grind at least $2,000,000 in 2 months time altogether. Sounds impossible? I think it won’t be easy as they will enjoy party life too, but we have to consider playing and grinding all the day is not so enjoyable
Four players – four men – all in one house together – those are: Brian “Flawless_Victory” Roberts, Dani “Ansky” Stern, Emil “whitelime” Patel and creator of the web DeucesCracked Jay “Krantz” Rosenkrantz. Their goal is obtain at least $2,000,000 in 2 months, in the way they like most – this means there is no strict bankroll management. This of course is very difficult and not recommended to beginners ?
The whole show is not only about playing poker and money grinding, but it’s connected with life inside and outside of the house. General info about all players can be found on http://g4tv.com/2m2mm, where you can find also information about personal chef and check their house. All of these guys seems be very OK and they have good sense of humour.
I also include below the first episode divided into two separate videos. I definitely recommend you to watch it – its always nice to see high stakes players in action. As you have heard, they have started playing from the scratch and have built their way through limits in short life time frame. So what you are waiting for? Sign up at 1 of our current promotions – Titan or Pokerstars – and try to build your own 2 Million!
